Geshe Thabkhe
Geshe la is a Lharampa Geshe of Sera Jey Monastery born in Penpo, Tibet. He is one of the monastery’s main philosophy teachers, the Director of the Sera Jey Modern Education Department, is one of the first monks to be a Tenzin Gyatso Science Scholar at Emory University (Atlanta, USA) and performs many other roles both in the monastery and in society.
He will be teaching the morning classes of TheGuide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life.

Venerable Lobsang Kunzang
Ven. Kunzang is an Italian nun who received initial logic and debate training at Dolma Ling Nunnery, Dharamsala, and now continues her studies at the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics. She has been teaching both English-language and Italian-language students logic and debate through the Lama Tsongkhapa Institute’s (Pomaia, Italy) online debate course for the past several years.
She will be co-teaching the morning debate and philsophy class.

Venerable Tenzin Lekzom
Venerable Lekzom is an Australian nun with a background in civil engineering who is studying in the Geshema program at Jamyang Choling Institute, Dharamsala.
She will be teaching the afternoon review class.

Venerable Losang Donyo
Ven. Donyo is an American monk studying in the Geshe program at Sera Jey Monastery. He has been instructing Debate School courses and creating educational materials for new students to learn Nalanda Debate in English for the past few years, under the initial encouragement of his first logic and debate teacher, Gen Lodro of the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics.
He will be co-teaching the morning debate and philosophy class.

A small handful of Sera Jey monks selected for their above-average English skills will join us during the debate sessions as coaches and mentors.

Archhana Kombrabail
Archana is a long-time Dharma student of great lamas such as Lama Zopa Rinpoche and H.H. the Dalai Lama. After stepping down as Director of Tushita Meditation Centre, Dharamsala, she began focusing on her own studies and practice. She currently studies the logic and debate course through Lama Tsongkhapa Institute, as well as the Serkong Institute. She also serves Serkong Rinpoche as an assistant.
She will be an organizer and assistant (and Disciplinarian!) for Losar Debate School.
