How to make a donation

If you have difficulty using one of the following methods for making a donation, please email: nalandadebateschool@gmail.com with your name and issue. Each method listed below should have options to make a money transfer without any fees. If you cannot figure out how to make a fee-less transfer and would like to avoid the fee, please email the above address and we will assist you. These donations will be collected in a personal bank account and then delivered to Sera Jey Monastery in person.

Options for Making a Donation

  • Paypal

    Step 1: Open the Paypal app or navigate to www.paypal.com in your browser and login

    Step 2: Click/Tap the blue oval that says “Send”

    Step 3: Enter the email address “ajonowen@gmail.com”

    Step 4: If it asks for the recipients name and country of residence, write

    First Name: Jonathan

    Last Name: Owen

    Country: United States

    Step 5: Enter the amount you wish to send and add the message “Debate School Registration - your name”

    Step 6: Click/Tap “Next” and then select the option that says “Friends and Family”

    Step 7: Choose your preferred method of payment and click/tap “Send”

  • Venmo

    Step 1: Open the Venmo app and login

    Step 2: Tap the blue oval that says “Pay or Request”

    Step 3: In the top bar, enter the username “lodonyo” (all lowercase)

    Step 4: Enter the amount of your donation and in the text box write “Debate School Registration - your name”

    Step 5: Tap “Pay,” select your preferred method of payment, and then tap “Send”

  • UPI

    You may use any UPI app. They each will have a different way to make a payment to a mobile number or UPI ID. The UPI ID is 9535999564@pthdfc. The following instructions are for the Paytm app.

    Step 1: Open the Paytm app

    Step 2: Within the box labeled “UPI & Wallet Payments ₹>” tap the icon with the words “To Mobile” - Each app will have a slightly different way to do this

    Step 3: Enter the UPI ID 9535999564@pthdfc and then tap the box that says “Proceed”

    Step 4: Tap the blue oval that says “₹> Pay”

    Step 5: Enter the amount and write a message that says “Debate School Registration - your name”

    Step 6: Verify the preferred payment method and tap the blue bar that says “Pay”
