Nalanda Debate House - Online Debaters’ Network
We are pleased to announce an international, online debaters’ network. This club is an effort to bring together institutions that offer debate training and practice, so that we can pool resources - most especially the human resources of debate partners!
We are starting out with weekly debate sessions on Sundays. Sessions are held in a virtual environment (using the Gather platform). We’ll be working with a series of debate questions that are inspired by topics included within the Lam Rim (Stages on the Path to Awakening) literature, but formulated to be universally appealing and engaging, without requiring any extra reading or background knowledge. At least one experienced debate coach will be present at every meeting.
People with no prior experience in debate are welcome to attend; there are resources on this website to give you a basic introduction to the debate procedure, and coaches will be present to guide you.
